It reminds me of that scene in the 1960s Disney version of "The Jungle Book," where Baloo says "those are nothing but trouble, kid." LOL.

I think that you did an amazing job on the lighting effects with this one; that is probably why it took an eternity, am I right?

Galejro responds:

It was more about a new method of texturing the skin&eyes and making the shadows & light contrast, bloom lightning just took a fraction of the time.

Is it weird that I pictured a kiwi (as in the bird) laying a kiwi (as in a Chinese gooseberry) after looking at the illustration and reading the description?

Probably, but I'm okay with that.

I definitely see why the fruits have come to be called "kiwi." Brown, "hairy" and ovoid, just like the bird.

Galejro responds:

Depends, if a Kiwi layed a kiwi-sized egg that would be a weird size cause that egg would be like 20% the normal size of a kiwi egg.

I don't think it looks crude; you must have done a good job with photoshop, then...

Funny enough, there are birds called "blue-footed boobies." You could always draw your coworker two of those together, if you are feeling a bit obnoxious. There are also birds called "tits." Oh man, so much fun to be had with bird names...

Galejro responds:

Trust me the name is already funny XD I'm from Poland, Polish for Bullfinch is Gil, gil is also Polish for a nose booger... So I just keep telling people it came of my nose lol.

Everything on the cat seems to be in proper proportion, so I have no idea why it looks a bit anthropomorphic to me...

It would be sweet if you drew breasts 3/4 of the way into a jump, lol. Like halfway through the descent, as gravity is taking effect on everything but the bewbs. I really like it when you incorporate movement into your drawings, for some reason (like in "Dożynki.")

Galejro responds:

Maybe the mouth is a bit smiling and the eyes have something of an eyebrow... Or maybe someone should cut down on playing a Khajiit in Skyrim XD

Jump ehh... CHALLANGE ACCEPTED! I'll message you with it's done.

Hmm, maybe you should dial down the dosage on whatever cold medicine you are taking...

Heh, but in all seriousness... I really like the vivid colours and the "glitchy" background.

... What is the sixth eyeball in the hand for?

doublemaximus responds:

Haha thank you! And for the sixth eye....no idea why she's holding it lol

Ah, the good old days, before the discovery of "wódka..."

Goodness, it must have taken a while to think about the physics of all those flowing fabrics and flailing braids in the first panel... It's fascinating when a photo "freezes" physics like that, but even more respect goes out to someone who can (fairly accurately!) do it with a drawing.

On a side note, are there not some sort of ceremonial axes/hatchets involved? Or am I thinking of a different polish festival/ceremony?

Galejro responds:

That would be mountaineer traditions from Carpathian mountains, These are called ciupaga and are a hybrid between an axe and an a mountain walking stick. Dożynki isn't that much important to people of the mountains since they are more shepherds than farmers.

S15 - Pretty awesome
Mayan/Incan/Aztec ruins - definitely awesome

Why together, though?

"because"

Great work, sir.

You hit the nail on the bucket.

Is the red thingy on Cain's face supposed to be a half-mask or some kind of deformity?

Is there someplace I can look at the aforementioned comic book, or is it an all-at-once-when-it's-finished type of thing?

Galejro responds:

It's more like transparency of his flesh when in the dark. I wanted to make something griddy & gorry, but at the same time original, classy and sterile. Randomly, when it just fits the moment (I haven't actually thought about giving it any decent explanation) when Shadow falls on Caine's body his flesh becomes transparent and exposes his skeleton and some flesh. Here I got kinda lazy, you know, what about his hand and neck than? There are other pictures of Caine in my newgrounds gallery from different angles and you can see what I mean. You can see the comic book in two places, on Inkblazers: http://www.inkblazers.com/manga-and-comics/Vampire-the-Masquerade-The-Return-of-Caine/detail-page/4159?lang=en or on Deviantart: http://galejro.deviantart.com/gallery/ (On Deviantart the two chapters are separated galleries)

You are a fountain of knowledge, my friend...

The link to the deviant art page doesn't show unless you sign up, though :(

For some reason, I feel like some light blues or yellows in the foreground would lend this one an eerier feel (which I think is the intention?) But what do I know? I can't draw very well, beyond stick figures...

Galejro responds:

Than this should work XD http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/galejro/ienitavereth

The background was mostly rushed and I didn't think it through. It's mostly black and now Its an eyesore. I think It's not too late to implement some changes, I'll have to work on it.
