That's a TSMC fab! I had the good fortune of visiting that country in early 2020, like a month before international air travel imploded; it's really amazing how smoothly everything operates over there.

I also agree with the last commenter, the colour palettes you use are awesome.

Kldpxl responds:

Nice! Would love to visit such a place.

Lol, such 1990s. Wow. "Pipes" screensaver, CRT, optical drive. Movie posters are a bit newer, but it all combines to set the scene for one of those gritty, "dot-com era" movies.

I think that you can safely add "epic" to the list of tags (without seeming like too much of a braggart, lol.) Sprawling city, highway stretching off toward the horizon, "Mount Doom" clouds... In terms of epic, Lord of the Rings ain't got shit on this cinemagraph. Lol

Yo, that's a foxy pixel lady!

Ha ha, ha...

Cool choice of car... Just happens to strangely coincide with me having started playing an Android game wherein the goal is to fix old Soviet-Russian cars.

Kewl, an Acadian old-school RPG map! I totally forgot about Les Iles de la Madeleine, I thought that was Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, for a second... *Facepalm*

I thought about adding SP & M but it's so close to Newfoundland I would have had to add it for the Cape St George region and I didin't have time to finish it in time for 15 Aout. Might expand it next year and add it and maybe Louisiana.

Lol but seriously, the detail on the rays/spots of light coming through the trees is amazing, irrespective of how much I like teh kittehs.

AtTheSpeedOf responds:

Aw thanks

"Wireframe" before the advent of computers, lol. I like the "chalky" lines on the mountains, that's a neat style.

I'm trying to figure out a clever nickname for him... Kainface? Nah... Scarchest? Er... At any rate, one of the tags says "vampire," so I guess he has to be careful not to draw blood from a cocaine addict.

Nice work on the background, too; it strikes me as minimalist, but it does a great job of reminding me of various shows/movies that took place in Miami in the '80s and '90s.

El Kaino Escobar XD

This (and a lot of your other illustrations) have a very "Alan Wake" aesthetic. Also similar to whenever someone converts a Stephen King novel to visual media. The nearly-vacant train hurtling through a desolate landscape filled only with pine trees here and there is pretty... Ominous. I think it's something of a talent to do horror-themed stuff without having to resort to monsters, murder or jump-scares. Just setting the scene and using implications to create a growing sense of unease.

On another note, the layout of the train car is similar to a metro car, but it's passing through the middle of nowhere; interesting... I second other guy's question.

AtTheSpeedOf responds:

Thanks, Alan Wake has the exact kind of style that appeals to me. The train here is mostly based on the train from Spirited Away.
